I just checked his site - which, incidentally, looks like it was designed by an eight year old, and when I was finally able to navigate to the area where it would list any live remotes; it was blank.

I got dragged there repeatedly. I have been going to the one in Livonia every Friday with a group for lunch for the last couple of years. The food had been getting progressively less impressive until, about six weeks ago, I ordered the French Dip. When it came, the "au jus" was just hot water with a slight brown tinge. I was told, "Sorry, that's all we have today." I was not asked if I would like something else instead. I tried to eat it anyway, first with the brownish water, and then just dry. I didn't even finish half of it and told the waitress to take it away. Nobody offered to comp the meal, nor gave me a coupon for my next visit. Not even any real apology. I have not returned since. My group kept going for a couple more weeks until it was clear I was going to hang on to my grudge. Now we're shopping for a new Friday spot. So far, a place called "Doc's" is the frontrunner. Some people make a scene...I just take my money away. |

I'm cool. I never engaged or said a bad word about them until they took the gloves off. I won't stand back and take crap from five nerds reading off of joke cards who have no advertisers of note because their show has no class or integrity. They make people pay to listen to copies of their show so they can make a buck. Who does that to their loyal listeners? I may have a lot of advertisers but do so I can provide free content, provide a network, and prizes to my listeners and my advertisers get results from partnering with the Hugeshow. Those are facts they and every other radio show in town wishes they could duplicate. I know what a relationship is like with the listener and the business owner. They both are my friends. Those knuckleheads used to do good radio but got so caught up in their own bullcrap that they think hammering the Hugeshow makes them big league? They are five nerds who are tools at heart who do one Christmas charity event each year to look good and then charge their listeners to hear archived audio of of their show the rest of the year.

I love how on his FB status about Verlander's no hitter he says 107.3 is the exclusive home for Tigers games on GR radio. Apparently he forgot that they only broadcast daytime games, and that 96.9 does all the night games.

Huge:
The radio ratings sytem is 50 years old. I've been top 2 or top 10. We are the most listened to sports show outside of detroit in the state in the afternoons. I let people know that when others try to say we don't have listeners. I don't care about ratings. I care that the audience respects the show and like any media outlet that people respond to our advertisers. We have great success with interaction, advertisers see results, and we have incredible relationships with listeners, coaches, athletes, and marketing partners. Those are the things I care about. I stepped in here because I will not let any radio show mislead people on the success stories of the Hugeshow. I will always protect my turf.

Huge-A-Dumbass: I filled in for the Sports Babe nationally before.. did the Howard Cosell speaking of sports national comentary....did Gamenight on ESPN...Worked three years in Chicago...They have never been on in a major market...Just finished 89 lines in the Kurt Russell movie"Touchback"(and beat out one of those guys on that show for the role)....and have a great life with the Huge network in Michigan and we are adding Detroit soon. My resume is solid if you want to compare it with theirs. Bring it on!

I love how Free Tube steak and Chicken in the morning radio show in GR keeps talking about the Hugeshow. What is their obsession? I know they have a tough time having any business leaders in West Michigan want to partner with them because there are only so many weight and fart jokes a company can take. If they keep saying nobody listens to my show then why do they keep talking about the Hugeshow? I love it!!!!

I'd just like to say I think it is great for the FBHW guys to donate so much free promotion to your show. They have always been great about giving to charities such as the HUGE show. If they didn't get their large audience to listen to your show for the HUGE enjoyment of your stupidity how would your families survive. God knows without their help you could never put food on your tables.Good luck luck getting out of 5th place.
