I believe punishment should meeet or exceed the crime when it scomes to molestation, rape and premeditated murder. Eye for an eye way of doin things... And hell, I do not believe they need to sit around in prison too long either. Hook'em, Book'em..Kill'em...Tag'em & Bag'em. gee dee Right. After that, we should skin'em, hang'em on our wall, then we should eat'em. gee dee right Not even a hint of sarcasm there SB

I just don't want tax money going towards keeping scum housed and fed three times daily. Sounds like the AIG bailout to me.

The thing is, we're all allowed appeals. In theory, we can appeal most cases all the way to the Supreme Court if we want to.
"New evidence" argument aside, I still think they should be allowed to go through the appellate process just like the rest of us, until all of their options have been exhausted. It's just how the system works.
On an emotional level yeah, I'd love to see the f'ers fry in 24 hours. But that would make a mess of our judicial system.

My first thought is execute. But, if your religious, I've heard the argument that when you do you rob God of someone who could possibly have really repented. Probably not, and no way for us to know for sure. So lock them away forever with bare essentials, no need to spend so much. I guess i'm on the fence.

For the same reason hard working people of america have to pay for the FDA to tell hersheys they cant call their candy milk chocolate anymore, and for the FCC to get people fired that use bad words on the radio or TV. I love paying taxes

(like b.c) ah, yes. the good good ol' days where we needn't worry about taxes but instead which rock to grind into a arrow tip that'll be used to hunt for pelts and food and bunnies. let's go back to all that, fuck taxes!

Don't forget the good old days when you were lucky to live past 50 or 60, and you spent each day hoping your kids didn't get something like polio or TB!

I say either we kill them ourselves or send them to whatever war we are fighting, give them a slingshot, and let them at it.

Oh you mean like the bible story of King David, Bathsheba, and Uriah the Hittite? Not necessarily. I just mean hardened criminals fighting against AK-47s using slingshots. It's the unfair advantage. I'm sure they understand what that is.

Of course, this would mean we would lose every war we ever engaged in....but whatever.

If we were to ever send criminals overseas to fight in wars, I'd at least want them properly armed. Let them take down some of the badguys before they meet their death.
