Hogan's Heros was a long time ago. Sent from my Droid using ProBoards But he hosted The Family Feud as recently as 1994. You telling me that, if I dropped the name "Johnny Carson," only Biff and Queenie would know who I was talking about? Fuck...I'm becoming a fossil.

He was *almost* as well known as Carson, in his day, in his way. Everybody my age and older knows this phrase: "Survey SAYS!" It was absolutely as ubiquitous as "Heeeeere's JOHNNY!" And most people my age and older would have gotten the "kiss of death" joke, too. I'm so bummed that didn't fly. Why must you use my name and fossil in the same sentence. WTF Rebel?? While we're on the subject though, Richard Dawson was such a perv. Technically, it wasn't in the same sentence. But, anyway, I considered writing "I might as well pull up a rocking chair next to Queenie," but I refrained. So give me some credit.

You may think its a fair comparison cause you grew up with both these guys. Richard Dawson hosted FF for one year in 1994. Before that he didn't host since 1985. When I was 3. Even then in 1994 I never watched FF. Stuff like that aired during the day when I was in school. I'm sure one of these days my kids are going to have to google Regis Philbin to find out who he is.

Fair enough. On the other end of the spectrum, I was in line at the deli a few months back, and an Adele song was playing on the radio, which I was tuning out. The girl working the counter asked me if I liked Adele, to which I replied: "Would I like a dill...pickle?" I was not kidding around.

[/quote] Well, when I was going to school, we had to walk both ways in the snow, uphill, with no shoes on. And our school house only had 2 rooms and an outhouse with no toilet paper, only dried leaves. I still don't wear shoes . . .
