Just starting my new job I don't get vacation for a year. Which sucks because I had 3 weeks a year at my last place. Starting over sucks.

Eagerly awaiting 1:00 to I can tune into the Tigers game, thereby making the last couple of hours of work before vacation go real quickly. ...Eagerly waiting 7:00 because I'll be sipping guzzling $1 beers and deep throating $1 weiners at the Griffs game!

I was worried I might not get the time off, for similar reasons. ...Eagerly waiting 7:00 because I'll be sipping guzzling $1 beers and deep throating $1 weiners at the Griffs game! How many rods of meat did you wind up shoving into your gullet?

Know one thing that's pretty cool about this place? The real-life connections we can create with people from here.
Today we got stuck in a nasty traffic jam outside of Nashville. I was able to give Queenie a call and got the scoop on what we were dealing with.
Traffic help from Nashville, all thanks to a goofy message board!

It is my opinion there is ALWAYS a traffic jam in Nashville. It's retarded.

The interstate system when it hits Nashville is stoopid. Especially if you're on 65 or 24 and have to merge with 40 and have to jump 3 lanes of traffic in order to stay on 65 or 24.

Sign on entrance ramp - 4th Ave to 65/24/40 "You cannot access 65 from this ramp" Me "watch me!!" Why did TDOT find it necessary to waste the money of Tennesseans to pay for a sign that says "to 65" when you can't really get to 65?

Even you follow the rules and get on 65 from Downtown via Church or Broadway, you get stuck in hellacious traffic. Effers.

Potty, you're in Nashville? or just blowing through? We were just passing through town. We're in Marco Island, FL for the week. It was great to hear from you, potthole! Hopefully you didn't stay jammed up for too much longer after we chatted. Holler on your way back through!! We got out of the jam maybe 15 minutes after we got off the phone. Down in northern Florida we got stuck in another traffic jam for about an hour. There was an accident that shut down the highway, and they were forcing four lanes of traffic off at one little exit. Hopefully something can work for us to meet up on the way back. We will be in the middle of our second 700 mile driving day, and will be in a hurry to get home (I have to work the next day, bright and early at 7), but we'll see if we can do a quick meet and greet.

I know you'll be in a hurry, and i'll have the grandbaby, but you have to fill up every now and then and my exit is the perfect place to do so!! There is a gas station right across from the exit ramp and you won't even have to cross traffic to get going again!! LOL!!

Can someone fill me in on why we are back on this board? Thanks! I was playing around with the settings for the fbhwforum domain name and forgot to take a screenshot before I tested something. *poof* I lost all the info for the old.new board. I made the redirect here, which was still getting a boatload of traffic, and due to the overwhelming amount of people who voiced that "here" felt like home, we stayed.

Thanks I found your other explanation I should have just looked harder. My vote would have been for the other board but it doesnt really matter. The one thing I did like was the list of the last 10 things that were commented on. It made it easier to see what were the topics that people were talking about

Here's a handy link you might enjoy: fbhw.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=recentIt's not quite the same as the "10 last threads" but it is close.

Just an FYI, it's near the bottom of the home page, in the Forum Statistics area: "View the 50 most recent posts of this forum"
