Wondering what'll go crazy tonight at the indoor football version of Slapshot.
Last week it was a sign that fell 20 feet down from the arena wall, onto the visiting team's bench mere moments before they came out from their locker room. Game before that it was the sound system cutting out multiple times during the National Anthem. One week it was the singer that forgot the words to The Anthem. And so on, and so forth.

Just finished the downtown Nashville tour with 0rz and Mike. It was a blast, but my freakin feet are killing me. The concert last night rocked too!!

...and they wonder why they are going bankrupt... The falling sign can't really be blamed on the team, but, yeah, many of the other goofs that have happened can be. It's unfortunate that things have unfolded the way they have. Grand Rapids has shown that it'll support an indoor football team. Back before Sparky McEwen ruined the Rampage they drew big crowds. The ThunderHawks ownership just didn't really do a good enough job trying to promote the team and make games a fun experience for the casual fan. .............just getting home from the Thunderhawks game. It was really fun! Thanks Potthole! You are quite welcome! You and your pal got to see what was probably the best all-around game of the year. Too bad it might be the last time the team ever plays in GR again. Best football action, best promotions, and best entertainment. Well, besides that singing group. They got old real fast. |

Trying to pass the time at work. Gets sort of dull when 90% of your work is done using one specific software program, and that program is taken offline for three days for upgrades.
