Tears In Heaven for sure if I think of the circumstances behind it.

Not sure if I have ever cried but for sure the first 2 on this list have made me emotional. Others would be Sunday Morning Coming Down - Johnny Cash In The Air Tonight - Phil Collins Look What You've Done - Jet Fire and Rain - James Taylor It's So Hard to Say Goodbye - Boyz II Men
Also on my computer I have a version of "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" that is really gripping but I don't know who sings this version.

Creeds "My Sacrifice" gets to me, but its only because it was used as a background song in a video tribute to my step father when he passed away.

Tears in Heaven for sure... everytime I think of why it was written and it gets me. Also My Hero by Foo Fighters because it was played when one of my friends passed away and now it is ruined for me forever.

Silverchair did a remake of the oldie "oh where oh where can my baby be..." it makes me sad. But I'm a girl so it doesn't really count.

Also, It's called last kiss and they did it as a sound check. It sounded really awesome so the kept it, released it on the interwebs (I beleive) and it hit the charts hard. Knowledge is Power

Lightning Crashes by Live is another one I just thought of.
The Lyrics alone are enough to tug at the emotions, but the song is just sad all around.
Also, WGRD played a version that had bits of news quotes between lyrics after 9/11. That one REALLY tugged at the emotions.

I remember the 9/11 tribute song, but I forget what song the news was layed over the top of.

Like a lot of people, the songs that make me cry do so less because of the song itself and more because of what it makes me think about. And believe me, the things I think about are really gay.
U2's "With or Without You" used to make me cry because it was the song that played when Ross and Rachel broke up.
Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt" made me cry due to it being used for the video package remembering wrestler Eddie Guerrero when he died.
I'll turn in my man card at the front desk on the way out.

I was wrong on Lightning Crashes.
Listening to this segment on podcast and Amazing Grace is the only song that litterally brings a tear to my eye. Having been a pallbearer at my friend, and Leiutenant's funeral, it takes me back to having to carry him as over 200 firefighters from all over the state in uniform salute him.

Amazing Grace always makes me cry because I had a neice that died at 3 months and they played that song TWICE. Once in the chapel and one at the grave site.

This thread got me thinking about all the songs that actually mean something to me. They don't necessarily make me emotional, but they are songs that for one reason or another have found a spot, either due to their content, when I first heard them, what they are associated with, or who they are associated with.
Aerosmith - Don't wanna miss a thing - Wasn't my first girlfriend, but it was the first I scored with. She used to quote the lyrics to me.
Kenny Rogers - Kentucky Homemade Christmas - My dad used to play this song around Christmas. As we were growing up, we were definately poor. We couldn't afford to pay attention. It never really resonated with me til I played the cd last year for the nostalgia and actually listened to the lyrics.
Randy Vanwarmer - You left me (Just when I needed you most) - This song came on the radio about 3 days after my step dad passed. I watched my mom go from finally being under control, to completely breaking down again in the matter of a few seconds. That was very hard to watch. I still can't listen to this song.
Garth Brooks - The River - This song gets interpretted differently by many people. But I always took it as there is an end result that we head to (the end of the river). Whether we take a straight path to the end, or if we navigate the twists and turns, makes the difference in our lives. I've used this as inspirationn over the years.

This song gets me as well because it was my Grandma's favorite song...that and Proud to be and American by Lee Greenwood because it was my Grandpa's favorite song...

"If You Leave" by Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark because it was the first sad song I heard on the radio after I was dumped by a girl for the first time. Yep, I'm old.

Somebody mentioned Cash's version of Hurt. That one gets me, too. Creeds "My Sacrifice" gets to me, but its only because it was used as a background song in a video tribute to my step father when he passed away. I thought it would make you cry because you remembered the video of me air jamming to it.
