All in all, a pretty effed up situation that ended the only way it could have considering the circumstances. For sure.

I still think it's all on Chi if he was responsible for the accident. If the show had put him in a dangerous situation or in any kind of risk, then they have some liability. But considering the accident was his fault for running a red light, I can't see how the show is responsible to reimburse him for breaking the law on his own, since they didn't encourage him to do so.
While not 100% his fault for the whole a-hole interaction with Craig, the ungratefulness is really unacceptable and that is on him

Anyone wanna guess what other radio station T-shirt chi's Dad was wearing? I'm guessing 101.3 the Fox. Seems like that would fit him. 96.9 LAV, probably because his dad got bombed with Tony Gates once. Everyone has gotten bombed with Gates at one point or another.

Completely agree Dino!! His attitude was the problem!! Never once did I hear him say thank you for fixing my idiot mistake! If I was monchichi I would have taken the free car, said thank you very much for the gracious gift cause I'm an F'n idiot that can't obey basic traffic laws....saved my pennies to later on buy a more fuel efficient auto down the line if I prefer cause it was my stupid F'n fault I got into the accident and not the radio stations. Oh yeah, forgot to add..... He probably deserves to get let go since he treated an advertiser/customer (at least I think they're an advertiser???) like shit.

I have already decided that I will travel across the state to get one from Hyway when that time comes, just because Craig has done some really cool things for and with the show. I don't plan to let him know I'm a FBHW listener until the deal is done because it's not about getting a fan discount or anything, it's just to give business to a good guy. I'll probably reveal it by yelling, "See ya later, Pig Nose!" on my way out the door. Bravo! I usually deal with private sellers which allows for better negotiation but when (knock on wood) we are in need of another vehicle, that is the first place I will look. Time to make good. My beloved Alero is no more. It has ceased to be. It is an ex-automobile. So I called Craig today and I did decide to tell him I'm a listener just to break the ice and let him know that he's still getting mileage out of his good deeds with the show. I told him I'd need about a month to free up some cash and then gave him the parameters of what I'm looking for. Gave him my number and told him to call me when he has something great. So, in late September or early October, I plan to take a Greyhound out to GR and buy a car from Hy Way Auto Sales.
