Thoughts?
I sure hope that he gave one hell of an apology to the folks at Hyway Auto!

I'm behind in the podcast as usual, so this is news to me. It's a pleasant surprise. I know the guys felt bad about canning him on the air, but I still doubt they would have taken him back if he hadn't made some apologies.
Throughout that whole episode, I had the feeling that this event would turn out to be a life lesson for Chi. When you are young and still learning how to be a grownup, you occasionally make terrible mistakes and take the lessons with you for a lifetime. I'm sure many of us can understand what it's like to learn the hard way that the man who raised you and taught you how to be a man is not as smart as he thinks he is.
I can think of several lessons--one stands out in particular--from when I was Chi's age that I will never...ever...forget. Those events shaped who I am today, and that one more than all the others combined.
Did they make any kind of announcement that Chi was back or address the unpleasantness from before, or did they just address him nonchalantly, like nothing had happened?

He's back? I haven't been able to listen as closely or as much as I would like lately, I haven't heard him on air.

I'm sure many of us can understand what it's like to learn the hard way that the man who raised you and taught you how to be a man is not as smart as he thinks he is. "When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years." - Mark Twain Something tells me that Chi will never be able to properly and honestly reference that quote.

They made a somewhat-big announcement during Wednesday's CWTTA segment. They didn't really get into many details, at least not while I was able to listen, but they did go out of their way to make it known they let him come back.

I just listened to the segment. Chi's dad didn't get the beat-up he so richly deserved.
