Holy shit was it a crazy day in GR. I have friends that live less than 1/8th of a mile from where he shot himself, so that was a pretty scary thought.
I just can't believe anyone has the ability or mindset to kill 7 people and take more hostages...either way I'm glad he died because he didn't deserve prison life.

I was at the Break Room on Plainfield when everything was going down. Kinda scary knowing that he was literally within a couple miles of me and potentially could have come that direction.
Definately not one of the nights I want to remember.

Queenie, thanks for checking in on us. My reply was short because I was still sleeping.

Queenie, thanks for checking in on us. My reply was short because I was still sleeping. I'm so sorry I woke you!! I overslept and was still about half asleep when I heard this news. I woke up really quick. You know, even though I have never met you guys in person, I still have a place in my heart for you!! Glad everybody is okay!!

The standoff with hostages took place a handful of miles from where I play softball. At one point we could hear a bunch of sirens in the distance, guess that's what they were from.
Glad the hostages got out safe, seven innocent lives lost was more than enough as it was.

I live up by that area and go to the Lowe's there on Plainfield Ave almost daily. I thought we left this stuff in Phoenix.
There really isn't a good sad emoticon here..
