On a related note, apparently Hugey Boy is going to be doing a remote at the new YMCA on Saturday. I'm going to stop by and ask him about the most recent ratings.

Between last year's electronic festival and that waterslide, dude owes teh city of Grand Rapids over $30,000. $25k of it stems from the waterslide alone. Nice. More fuel for the "he's a douchebag" crowd fire.

Bliss has accumulated a debt to the City of Grand Rapids for about $20,000, and he said Tuesday that some of the money will go to paying off some of that debt. That debt kept Bliss from scheduling his annual Zombie Walk this year.
SOME?

Like I've always maintained Rob Bliss is a guy who just wants the spotlight on him, without ever considering the effects of his "activities." I'm surprised that they let him get that far in the hole.

Glad it would appear the city finally grew a pair and wouldn't let him do the zombie walk. Like zdunk mentioned, I can't believe they let him get his debt as big as he did. Pretty sure it was just sometime in the past year where I saw an article in the GR Press about them putting the screws to a restaurant owner that was a first-time 'offender' and owed a couple hundred bucks in property taxes from the previous year.
