Most of you know of my daughter, Alyssa. She competed in her annual fair pageant and won 1st Runner Up again. This makes 3 years in a row. She's taking next year off. This picture has my 22 year old son with his sister. He was also her sponsor.

Good thing a certain former member is long gone...
What's the sponsor do, Queenie? Did he just help cover costs to enter, or does it have some different meaning in that world?

Unless the winner was Jessica Alba, that's three years in a row she got robbed!

That's my son, potthole. He has always loved wearing pink. I guess it was that statement I made to him when he was about 14 and I wanted him to wear one for a wedding. I told him that only a confident guy could wear pink. He's been wearing predominately pink ever since. Rebel, thanks so much. I really think the 1st runner up IS the winner, because the actual winner every year doesn't seem to compare to the other girls and we believe their family has paid off the judges. (spoken like a jealous mother).

I love your daughter's dress. I always wanted to be in pageants. I always loved dressing up. I hope the texting girl in the yellow dress didn't win.

Thanks Janna!! The girl in the yellow dress is Emily, my adopted daughter. It was her first year and she didn't make it to the top 10.

Anyone else have a craving for foot this morning?! Maybe someone would like to insult the chick in the green top, who is probably Queenie's niece.

You know me, i'm not the offended type (much). I thought it was hilarious, and have actually told him of that drop. He just shook his head and said, "Mom, why do you listen to that show." And I said, "so I can find good fun insults for people because I DEFINITELY can't come up with them on my own!"

This was her "professional" pic taken by my pink polo shirt wearing Son's ex-girlfriend.
