the fall tv schedule is looking up! I was just glad to watch the start of the new Sons of Anarchy season. Now I have the Walking Dead to look forward to!

We just converted a lady I work with. She couldn't believe that we were interested in "that stupid show" but she just saw the first season over the weekend and now she's fully on board.

There are new webisodes up on the AMC website. The guy is a terrible actor but it definitely whets the appetite: The Walking Dead - Video – AMCI'm glad that he's not on the series. I've seen better acting in soccer. |

It was. What an ending. That said, I need more meat now. Sure the story lines are set for a couple of episodes but they need to spend some time letting the audience know the "why".

I actually woke up about 3:00 (as usual) and turned it on. Then, I came to my senses and decided there would be no going back to sleep if I watched the entire episode. I only briefly saw where the sheriff and his wife were reminiscing about old times.

Alright, alright!! I watched Season Two Ep. 1 tonight. SOOOOO did not see that ending coming!
Need some backstory, here. What happened to cause almost everybody to die (or un-die)?

Useless trivia: the actor that plays Glenn is from Kalamazoo and was Sheldon's roommate on The Big Bang Theory before Leonard moved in. As to who is right and who is wrong? Shane is mostly right. 90% right but he's a loose cannon. He can't stand seeing Rick, who he is used to seeing in charge, kowtowing to Herschel. He probably believes that with the new world order that there are no property rights; there are the strong and the weak (aka the dead or soon to be dead). Rick is mostly right and it was nice to see him finally stand up to Herschel and to also take charge of the situation by getting in Herschel's face and then, at the end, being the one to step up in a very difficult situation (I'm being vague because Potthole hasn't seen it yet). That's the fascinating thing about this show: we watch it from the comfort of our homes where the rules haven't changed and try to interpret what it must be like in that world where everything has changed. The writers make it difficult to "choose sides". |

Shit I didn't realize that was the finale until tonight when I noticed there aren't any more episodes on my PVR. I hate cable's short seasons. 6 episodes, then wait a year...
Word has it Darabont has left the show in protest of the budget getting cut to pay for Mad Men. Wonder what will happen now?
