Apart from MGD, which split time with Labatt's as my go-to beer in college, I was never really into American beers. These days, I don't drink much beer at all. Now, it's Miller Lite if I'm just hanging out watching the game or any variety of Sam Adams if I'm drinking for taste.

4 for Miller and 4 for Bud.
I was just thinking about Michelob the other day and how I don't see advertising for it anymore.
Miller is making up for the other sales with PBR, at least I would imagine that to be true.

My go to was Bud Light. I still drink it but now I swear by Shiner Bock. I like to keep my fridge stocked with both if I can. I was on a Sam Adams kick for awhile.
One thing nice about going up to Michigan a few weekends ago was being able to bring some Oberon back with me. That's one thing I loved about living in Michigan. You guys have some of the best local breweries I've ever seen.

When I was in college and actually drank beer, I drank Yeungling or New Castle (thirsty Thursdays on the beach) but when I went to a party, most often i would drink Budwiser, because thats what they had.

Miller/Miller Lite started as my go-to, but now I'd say Founder's and Bell's are the go-to.
Once every two months or so I have enough empty bottles to fill up a paper shopping bag, which is my sign to go return them. The last time I did so, I noticed all of the bottles were from Founder's product.

Used to be Bud and Bud lite, now it's anything craft beer. If I'm going cheap I go anything Leinenkugel's which is always my go to beer. If I'm looking for something a little more fancy I might pick from any number of craft options and most times will try something new or go to a mix and match store.

I've been drinking PBR pretty much since high school and would probably consider that my mass produced fall back beer. Will drink that if I'll be drinking a lot that particular day/weekend. Easier not to get fall over drunk that way.
Ever since I found Oberon back in the early 2000's though I've been solid craft beer geek. I absolutely love all of the different styles and flavors these genius's come up with. Shorts (in northern Michigan) has beer that tastes like Key Lime Pie, carrot cake and just does some awesome stuff with beer. Founders in GR makes some of my favorites like their Centennial IPA and Porter. Really looking forward to their Canadian Breakfast Stout (which is partialy made with maple syrup....yum) but not sure if I'm willing to pay $18 for 750 ml of it.
I also brew my own beer so I drink what I make. By the end of this weekend I'll have about 8 or 9 cases to drink up. They consist of an Old Ale, Double IPA, Marzen Ale, Peach Wheat and my entry to the Bells Homebrew Competition, a Strawberry IPA. If I do win the competition, I will get to brew my beer with Bells and you all are invited to the release party at Bells. Queenie, if I win you have to fly up for it. No questioning it.
