Not this time but I'll hit up the next one. I just started a very good job and the last thing I should be doing it taking any time off until my 90 days are in.

Excellent. I can mail your ticket if you'd like. PM your address - unless you'd just like to post it here for everyone to see!

I might be there, not sure if I can afford the day off work to make the show or not. However I do have tickets already, so hopefully I can make it.

Need some help with a costume idea. I would like to go with something show-related (but that isn't set in stone), but something that I can throw together in a day.
-The clubhouse leader is Bear (the Double Rainbow Guy), but I think there might be a lot of people there with the same idea. -I thought about going with Dude Shadoway if I can get a Power Stereo FM T-shirt printed on short notice, but I don't look anything like the pic that represents him. Fortunately, I can't pull off looking like I'm 60 yet. -Was considering Charlie Sheen, but I don't look anything like him, either. Any volunteers to play "The Goddesses?" Winning! -Thought about going as Bishop, but it will be too cold for shorts. If you can't see the compression socks, you won't get the joke. -I also considered "weird IT nerd," but, for me that's not a costume, it's everyday life. -Might be able to pull off LARPER, but that sounds like a lot of work and expense. -Also, Del Reynolds is an idea. Would anyone get the joke if I just walked around with a tape measure on my belt? Does anyone have a connection who could score me a Real Rock 105.1 and 95.5 T-shirt?

How about going as Len? Get a real bright and loud graphic button-up shirt, paint a microphone gold and carry it around with you.

You could always get a speedo and five gallons of nipple lube in order to go as a P90X promotional photo.
Let your peers decide if you're the "before" or "after" photo.

This is not a bad idea, except I'm not really too familiar with Len as Jer was doing the voicers when I started listening to FBHW. I assume Len is the "Goldenthroat" that used to work with them at GRD, based on a comment I read here. But I know nothing of the loud clothing choices or any of that. Still, it might be a funny inside joke to the guys, as I was the original voice of the Free Beer and Hot Wings show, when they were in Iowa. I could wear a sign that says, "I WANT MY JOB BACK!" You could always get a speedo and five gallons of nipple lube in order to go as a P90X promotional photo. Let your peers decide if you're the "before" or "after" photo. This, on the other hand, IS a bad idea. It would definitely be the before picture, and, trust me--nobody wants to see that. Thanks for the idea, though.

Get a Huge Show t-shirt and make stickers for all of his advertisers and put them all over the t-shirt and go as The Dumbass.

I'll see if I can find an old photo that was posted on these boards... EDIT: Here is the non-photoshopped version-- Somebody then put a golden mic in front of him, with a colorful star-burst as the background. Still looking to see if I can find that. EDIT2: Found the thread it was posted in but the photos seem to all be down. Suck.

Alright...the hotel is booked and the costume is planned. The only question is whether all the shit I ordered online will arrive in time for me to put it together. Expedited shipping cost me a g-d fortune, so it had better.

Wish I had thought of this earlier: it would have been fun to get a Robot costume and wear a sign that reads, "Hey Everybody!" But the other idea is too far along to abandon now.
