MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich— A man is facing a felony charge after allegedly sexually assaulting two dogs at the house he was living at in Muskegon County. Kurtis Peter Peterson was arraigned on a charge of "crime against nature," or bestiality, a felony with up to a 15 year prison sentence. Peterson allegedly assaulted a pit bull and blue heeler living at the home in the 200 block of Amity St. The latest incident, involving the blue heeler, happened around 10:30 Monday morning, and was reported by a woman at Peterson's residence who observed the incident while walking past his bedroom. When questioned, Peterson told police he was petting the dog while naked. Peterson is considered a fourth-time habitual offender which means he could get life in prison if convicted. He's being held on $250,000 bond in Muskegon County Jail. Sure, that's a believable story...
