Ha! my husband said the same thing! he's had a pair of Gargoyles since he was in High school. I'm just prone to losing things, hence the reason I try to buy cheap stuff, so if I lose it, I don't feel so bad.

Man I thought it was just my wife. About a year ago I proposed a bet that she couldn't hold onto the same pair for a full year.
...not sure how many new pairs I've seen since then. Lost count.

Plum tired. I went canoeing/fishing on an 8 mile trip down the Caney Fork River. They were generating at the Center Hill Dam so the water was swift and friggin cold! The day was perfect, and the breeze coming off the cold water was cooling. We had a ton of fun. My husband caught two trout, I had fun when I swung from a rope swing, we rescued a woman and her three kids after they tipped their canoe, I accidentally sunk my canoe with my husband in it (oops), saw some ducks, I lost my sunglasses (best damn $3 sunglasses ever), had a picnic lunch, and we found a huge cave and explored it , that was awesome. setting my alarm clock for 4am. Tonight is the biggest meteor shower of the year. starts at 10pm. the peak is 4-5am. will last into the weekend.

Papa Johns has a really good chicken bbq pizza but.....their sanitary practices at the one by my house is atrocious so we don't go there anymore. They have a nasty-ass dirty keyboard on their main computer terminal. Half the keys have a black grime on them. I had a coupon so the manager, who was kneading the dough at the time, had to come over to punch in the code. He then took my cash and went right back to kneading the dough. He didn't wash his hands or use hand sanitizer. I'm somewhat of a germophobe so I wanted to puke. I called and told the day manager but that was met with seeming indifference. Wouldn't you know it....on their website there is no place to offer comments so that it gets handled by corporate. Buh-bye Papa John's. You have really good pizza.....and none of my money. |

Ewwww gross. You never handle cash and then go back to food prep without washing your hands. Money is soooo dirty. Any person with common sense should know that. I bet in hindsight, as soon as you saw him do that, you should have said, "dude, forget my order. I'll go somewhere they practice safe food handling!"
