I learned how to peel properly a hard boiled egg yesterday. When will you learn to properly peel it? I might learn how properly to peel it, which might be a little less clunky, but I will never learn how to properly peel it, because I don't split infinitives.

I learned how to peel properly a hard boiled egg yesterday. Do you care to share your new found wisdom? I always let them cool for a minute and poke a hole in one end so the water seeps in to loosen the shell and it comes right off. It is never wise to put them in the fridge prior to peeling them. It is very hard to peel a boiled egg after it has been put in the fridge. It's like the coolness creates a super glue type bond between the outside of the egg and the shell lining.

I like your method for a freshly boiled egg; I had not thought of that. But I boil a half-dozen on Sundays, and then eat one every morning for the next week. They have to go in the fridge or they'll spoil in a few hours--and you're right about the super glue thing. So, here's what I found: for a boiled-then-refrigerated egg, I give one end a good crack and then roll the egg firmly starting from the crack to crumble the rest of the shell. Crack the other end and repeat. Keep rolling until one spot (usually one of the ends) becomes really loose. Start peeling from there and the shell will come off in two or three large chunks, nice and easy.

No way this is going out like that. Someone will probably buy it just to keep the name going.

They keep the same and a slightly warmer egg is 10 times easier to peel than one refrigerated. If you insist on putting them in the fridge with the shell on, letting it warm to room temperature will help too. Can you believe we've had this much discussion on peeling freakin boiled eggs . . .

Can anybody tell me if the iPhone 4 works with 4G? My boss asked me to look into it, but when I checked devices on the web, they didn't show it.

iPhone4 is not 4G.
AT&T is only sparsely populated for 4G access and Verizon is not that much further ahead. The new iPhone, rumored to be out around September, is expected to have 4G service.

We have 4G service available, but I just needed to know if his phone was 4G "compatable" I guess is the word or would he have to get another phone. I hope it isn't compatable because I just got him a new phone and finished setting it up not 4 weeks ago. I don't want to have to eff with another one.

AT&T doesn't have any real 4G (It's actually a 3G hybrid if you read their fine print), the only two with true 4G networks at all are Verizon and Sprint and those are limited.

Just wanted to wish all of you fathers a Happy Father's Day (especially you, Mr. Not Father of the Year)!! I will be spending mine with my Daddy. I still haven't gotten him a present. Of course, he says just coming to see him is a great present. He's 75 and has everything he wants or needs. Oh well, i'll probably get him a shirt and hat.
