While we're on the subject, I know of someone else who'll be getting a new job--at least I hope she will, cause I got her fired from her current one this week.  I can't go into details because of the non-disclosure agreement I have where I work, but I didn't mean to get her fired. She was probably on her way out, anyway, because she wasn't particularly bright and had several strikes against her. I gave her plenty of chances to save herself but, in the end, I was forced to report the situation. Next day, poof! No more her. I didn't know that would happen, but I wouldn't change what I did. That's my job, but I still feel bad. That part of my job sucks. So, she got re-instated today. Apparently, she appealed her termination and won. I'm glad, because I don't want to be the reason she lost her job, but, oh man, the next time I see her is going to be awkward! |
