Sure am hoping the forecast for Saturday starts to improve... have my first senior photos of the year scheduled. Last year I did the photos for this client's cousin, and we were dodging storms too-- maybe it's a family thing.

Reading a bio on Theodore Roosevelt. What a bad ass! This guy was shot in the chest once and then not only refused to go to the hospital right away but proceeded to make a 90 minute speech. I would list all of this guys accomplishments but I don't want to break the internets.
Seriously though, just to kill this man death had to make him seriously ill for 2 1/2 months then sneak up on him in his sleep and give him a heart attack.

Mrs Jiggy and I finally found a house we really liked over the weekend. Meeting with a guy tomorrow about it. Let's hope it goes good. Good neighborhood and plenty of room for some "additions". Best part is the full sized mini bar in the media room (or mini sized full bar if you prefer).
...oh I might have some news on that "addition" in the near future.

My parents and sister are moving in with my wife and I tomorrow.
They sold their house over the summer when it looked all but certain that my dad's job search would take them out of state. For the past month they'd been living with a family from their church that had an in-law apartment within their house, but that family just sold their house, too. My dad wound up getting a job in the area, and they've found a house they're hoping to buy, but in the meantime they will be living with us.
Could get interesting.

It took me over an hour to settle down to a point where I could finally get into bed. My wife and I hugged for a good 60 seconds when A-Rod struck out.
How fitting is it that Jeter made the last out of the 8th and Gay-Rod struck out to end it?

My wife and I were listening to the game on the radio in the kitchen. The rest of my family (yep, still with us for a couple more weeks) were all sleeping, so when A-Rod struck out, we found ourselves jumping up and down in the kitchen, trying to cheer and high-five as quietly as possible.
